The hotel cost will be $115 for the two nights we will be staying, per person.

The AAF is currently in the process of launching a sub organization called Ad2. They are looking to get students involved by hosting a competition for logo and/or tagline development. There are no restrictions, only that they would like just one submission per student or team. The deadline for all entries is 5pm, June 1. The winning logo and tagline will be on all Ad2 Austin materials this year and the winners will be introduced and recognized at the club's Launch Party.

Here is a synopsis of Ad2:

The Austin Advertising Federation serves the Austin ad community with an organization in which to network with other ad professionals. In the last Ad Fed meeting, the board voted to launch a division of the club called Ad2 Austin. This organization hopes to connect more deeply with younger ad professionals, specifically under 32 years of age. Ad2 Austin is a great chance for members to have fun with other young advertising people, to collaborate on initiatives, exercise and grow leadership skills, and network — all in a supportive environment. The club features speakers, seminars, public service campaigns for local causes, monthly happy hours and yearly trips.
