Portfolio Night at LatinWorks

LatinWorks, recently named “Multicultural Agency of the Year” by both ADAGE and ADWEEK is hosting the first PORTFOLIO NIGHT event ever done in Texas this May 20th. It’s a global event that takes place in more than 35 cities around the world on the same day and it’s coming to Austin for the first time. It will start at 5:30pm. It works kind of like “speed-dating” for creatives. We are inviting the best Creative Directors in Texas and other places to come critique portfolios of young creatives. It’s a great networking opportunity for aspiring creatives in a relaxed and entertaining way. White Ghost Shivers will play, we’ll have a DJ, mini shows, free drinks (for those 21+) and free food. Our sponsors will have some goodies there too.

You will need to buy a ticket on the Austin page (we’re adding more Creative Directors as we speak). So far, we’ve secured figures such as Jim Ferguson (JimBob_Dallas – former Y&R President), Brent Ladd (GSD&M Idea City), Scott McAfee (Sanders\Wingo), Jay Russell (Crispin Porter + Bogusky), Joe Shands (Vendor – former CD at TBWA\Chiat\Day) and of course our very own Sergio Alcocer (President and CCO of LatinWorks).

Tickets sell out. The more CDs we add, the more tickets we can sell, but secure your place ASAP and start polishing your books! Also, the best work will be published in the Portfolio Night Annual. Keep checking the Austin page for location info and to see the CDs attending.
